Kuttu Atta ki Puri with Aloo Tari Wali Subzi – Vrat ka khana Navaratri Special

A full meal while you fast and have a no cereals day… this recipe is to filling and spicy too!



Ingredients for kuttu puri -
  • Kuttu Atta – 1 cup
  • Potatoes boiled – 2 medium
  • Salt to taste
  • Green chilli finely chopped – 1
  • Red chilli powder
  • Coriander leaves chopped
  • Luke warm water for kneading the dough
  • Oil for frying and kneading

Method -
Take kuttu ka atta,boiled potatoes,dry spices,coriander leaves, green chilli,1 teaspoon oil in a flat bottom pan. Add water gradually to the mixture and knead to make a fine thick dough. Knead it well, apply little oil if you feel the dough is sticky. Keep aside for 5 minutes.


Now heat oil in a thick bottom kadai for deep-frying the puris. Divide the dough in small balls. Roll the balls to make the puris. Deep fry them one by one from both the sides till they become dark in color. Repeat this process for all the puris.
