Mevawala Swang Ke Chawal ka Halwa – Vrat ka khana Navaratri Special

Ingredients -
- Swang ke chawal (rice) – 1 cup
- Ghee – 2 tablespoon
- Jaggery - 1 cup ( or according to taste, you can use sugar also in place of jaggery)
- Almonds – 10 – 15
- Raisins – 10
- Water – 2
- Cardamom Powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Take a heavy bottom kadai, heat ghee in it and add the swang rice, keep stirring on low flame ( for about 7 mins) till the color turns to golden brown. Now add crushed jaggery to it and stir for few minutes more and add water. Let it come to boil on low flame, keep stirring in between. When the rice absorbs water and kadai sides start leaving the ghee your halwa is done.
Add dry fruits and stir again, serve hot!!
